Questions & answers
Does this check availability?
No. It only formats your supplied list locally. Check the desired service yourself before using a handle.
How are accented names handled?
Unicode NFKD decomposition removes combining accents when possible; unsupported characters become separators. This is not comprehensive language transliteration.
How are duplicates detected?
Drafts are compared without case. Numeric suffixes resolve collisions within this batch, respecting the chosen maximum length.
Are my names stored?
No. They stay in this tab unless you copy or export the results.
Which rules does it enforce?
ASCII letters, digits and the selected separator, a letter at the beginning, and your selected length limit. Platform-specific reserved names are not checked.
What are the limits?
Up to 1,000 nonempty lines and maximum lengths from 8 to 64 characters. Rows that contain no usable letters or numbers are flagged rather than invented.
