Copies are assumed identical and available initially. End dates are exclusive handover dates; no deposits, reminders, maintenance or actual booking is performed.

How to use Community Tool Lending Queue

    1. Explore the worked example. Assign dated requests to available copies of each named tool and reveal shifted start dates and waits.
    2. Replace the borrow requests with your own entries. Set copies of each tool, maximum queue days.
    3. Choose “Schedule the lending queue”. Review loan queue, then compare the visual overview with the detailed tables.
    4. Capture alternative scenarios, download a reusable project and export the selected table or a report when you are ready.

    A starting point

Assign dated requests to available copies of each named tool and reveal shifted start dates and waits. The example is illustrative and can be replaced.

    Know what you are comparing

Can two borrowers use the same copy at the same time?

No. Each request is assigned to a next-available copy. Return dates are exclusive handover boundaries, allowing the next borrower to start on that date.

    Files, privacy & saving

Calculations run locally in a browser worker. Input CSV files use the column names in the downloadable template and keep your current settings. Projects restore inputs and up to four scenarios. Imports are limited to 1 MiB and 100 entries. There is no automatic saving. Public pages include advertising and optional analytics; see our privacy policy.

CSV exports contain the entire selected table. JSON and printable HTML reports include all result tables; open the report and use your browser’s Print command for PDF.
