Ready. Explore the example or use the input controls to begin.
Scope and practical limits
Ascending/descending JavaScript code-unit lexical order; no locale, natural-number or case-folded sorting. Root-only mode affects only a root object. Numeric token spellings and array order stay unchanged.

Using JSON Object Key Sorter
Sort JSON object keys at the root or recursively while preserving array order and exact numeric source tokens.
- Load the example or import the primary input. Supply the second JSON input when comparing or merging.
- Choose the explicit transformation rules, then inspect the result and audit before downloading.
- Download the output, audit or exact matrix JSON. Save a project to retain editable settings.
Example
Keys z,a become a,z. Array [3,1,2] stays [3,1,2].
Questions & answers
What behavior should I check before using the output?
Ascending/descending JavaScript code-unit lexical order; no locale, natural-number or case-folded sorting. Root-only mode affects only a root object. Numeric token spellings and array order stay unchanged.
Are large JSON numbers rounded?
The shared JSON parser preserves numeric source tokens. Duplicate keys and inputs beyond the stated limits are rejected. Other applications can still round numbers when they parse an export.
Is my input saved automatically?
No. Save a project or download your result before leaving. Processing is local; website ads and analytics follow the site consent and privacy settings.
