Formula & assumptions
Approximate wax mass = volume × density; fragrance mass is a percentage of wax, not total blend.
Values use the specified units. Calculations use floating-point arithmetic. Check input measurements and formula assumptions before applying the result.

Example
Container volume: 250 milliliters Wax density: 0.9 grams per milliliter Fragrance load relative to wax: 6 percent Candles: 4 candles Wax per candle · grams: 225 Fragrance per candle · grams: 13.5 Total wax · grams: 900 Total fragrance · grams: 54
Questions & answers
What does Candle Wax Planner calculate?
Estimate wax and fragrance mass from your container capacity and chosen density.
Which units should I enter?
Container volume uses milliliters. Wax density uses grams per milliliter. Fragrance load relative to wax uses percent. Candles uses candles. Convert values to these units before calculating.
Which formula does it use?
Approximate wax mass = volume × density; fragrance mass is a percentage of wax, not total blend.
What does the included example show?
Container volume: 250 milliliters; Wax density: 0.9 grams per milliliter; Fragrance load relative to wax: 6 percent; Candles: 4 candles. Result: Wax per candle · grams = 225; Fragrance per candle · grams = 13.5; Total wax · grams = 900; Total fragrance · grams = 54.
Can I compare different settings?
Yes. Save a scenario, change the inputs and save another result. Up to five scenarios are compared in this tab; they disappear when you reload or leave.
Can I export the calculation?
Copy the JSON report or download JSON and CSV with inputs, result labels and numeric values. Processing uses local JavaScript; no calculation request is sent to our server. Displayed values use up to 10 significant digits; exports retain JavaScript numeric precision.
