How to use the floor plan designer
  1. Rooms: choose Room and drag a rectangle. Walls are added around it and the area is shown. For other shapes use Wall: click corner by corner, type an exact length and press Enter, double-click or press Esc to finish.
  2. Doors and windows: choose Door or Window and click on a wall. Drag them along the wall with Select; flip the swing in Selected.
  3. Furniture: pick a piece in the Furniture tab and click on the plan. Drag to move, use the round handle to rotate (R turns 90°), and set exact sizes in Selected.
  4. Fit check: furniture that overlaps a wall, other furniture or a door swing is outlined in red and listed in Plan.
  5. Save: autosave keeps a copy in this browser. Save project downloads a file you can open later; export a PDF to scale, PNG or SVG to share or print.

Sizes in the library are typical; measure your own furniture for a perfect fit. Everything runs in your browser.

Using Room & Floor Plan Designer

Plan a room, an apartment or a whole house to real measurements. Draw rooms and walls, add doors and windows, place furniture from a library with real sizes and see straight away if everything fits. Save the project to continue later and print a PDF to scale.

  1. Start from a template (bedroom, studio, apartment, office, house) or choose New empty plan.
  2. Use Room and drag a rectangle to add a room with walls, or Wall to click corner by corner. Type an exact length and press Enter for precise walls.
  3. Choose Door or Window and click a wall. Drag them along the wall and flip the swing in Selected.
  4. Pick furniture in the Furniture tab and click on the plan. Pieces snap against walls; drag to move, use the round handle to rotate and enter exact sizes in Selected.
  5. Check the Plan tab for room areas and fit warnings, then save the project or export a PDF to scale, PNG, SVG or a furniture list.

Example

Will a 160 × 200 cm bed and a 120 cm wardrobe fit in a 3 × 3.5 m bedroom? Draw the room, place both and the fit check tells you if anything overlaps a wall, a door swing or other furniture.
A two-bedroom apartment template shows about 70 m² with room-by-room areas you can compare when changing the layout.
