Quality and format choices

Unchanged exports retain the original bytes. Timing, looping and comment-only edits preserve compressed frame images. Pixel edits keep exact colors when representable; any palette reduction is reported. Choose APNG or PNG frames for full-color output and soft transparency.

Comments use Latin-1 text. Background removal is color-based and supports source frames up to 4 million pixels. Sheet exports are limited to 16 million pixels. CSS sprite classes are static positions; use the timing JSON for animation playback.
