Pascal’s Triangle Visualizer

Generate exact Pascal triangle rows and explore odd/even or modular patterns. Inspect a selected row and its sum, then export scalable SVG, PNG or full integer coefficients.

1. Set up your creation

Row 0 contains 1. Coefficients use BigInt, including rows beyond safe floating-point integers. Number labels support 16 rows; parity and modulo support 101. The selected row can be inspected independently of the displayed triangle. Zero residues are faint; nonzero residues use stronger opacity.

Using Pascal’s Triangle Visualizer

Generate exact Pascal triangle rows and explore odd/even or modular patterns. Inspect a selected row and its sum, then export scalable SVG, PNG or full integer coefficients.

  1. Choose the displayed row count and number, parity or modular visualization.
  2. Select a row index to inspect its coefficients and exact sum; set a modulus for remainder patterns.
  3. Generate, inspect and export the image or complete row text. JSON retains every exact coefficient as a decimal string.

Example

Row 0 contains 1. Coefficients use BigInt, including rows beyond safe floating-point integers. Number labels support 16 rows; parity and modulo support 101. The selected row can be inspected independently of the displayed triangle. Zero residues are faint; nonzero residues use stronger opacity.

Questions & answers

Why does each row begin and end with 1?

Each inner value is the sum of two values above it; missing values outside a row are treated as 0. This construction produces the binomial coefficients.

What is the sum of row n?

It is exactly 2^n when rows are indexed from 0. The tool displays the selected row and computes its sum using exact integers.

Why does the parity view resemble a fractal?

Highlighting odd coefficients reveals a Sierpinski-like pattern. The tool draws the selected finite rows, not an infinite fractal.

Can I display large coefficients as labels?

Exact text exports support 101 rows. On-image number labels are limited to 16 rows to remain readable; choose parity or modulo for larger images.

Is my input uploaded for processing?

No processing upload is used. This tool runs in a local browser worker. Website ads and analytics follow the site privacy information.
