Sequence & Pattern Visualizer
Turn custom or generated number sequences into line, scatter, polar and heat-grid views, exploring differences and modular residues.
Explore a preset, then edit the controls. Results update when you leave a field or select an option.
A worked example
Square numbers have odd first differences: 3, 5, 7, 9… Plot differences to expose that pattern, or compare Fibonacci residues modulo 10.
Scope and practical limits
Up to 300 terms, values within ±1e100. Float64 visualization may round large integers. Use the exact recurrence tool when every digit matters.

Using Sequence & Pattern Visualizer
Turn custom or generated number sequences into line, scatter, polar and heat-grid views, exploring differences and modular residues.
- Choose a preset to see a worked example, then edit the labeled values.
- Inspect the live chart and result summary. Read any warnings about assumptions or unsupported inputs.
- Review the calculation table, which shows 50 rows per page. Exports contain all available result rows.
- Export the chart as SVG or PNG and the data as CSV or JSON. Save a project to reopen your inputs later.
Example
Square numbers have odd first differences: 3, 5, 7, 9… Plot differences to expose that pattern, or compare Fibonacci residues modulo 10.
Questions & answers
Does a visible pattern prove a formula?
No. A chart helps you investigate; finite observations alone cannot prove the next value or a general identity.
What does the heat-grid color mean?
Brightness increases from the smallest to the largest selected value in this sequence. Colors are relative to this result, not fixed absolute thresholds.
Can I keep editing later?
Save project downloads the inputs and options as JSON. Open project restores that file. Undo and redo remain available during this tab session.
Are images and data exports free?
Yes. Chart SVG/PNG and data CSV/JSON exports do not require an account. Specialized exports are shown beside the result when supported.
