Questions & answers

Is 7 hours 30 minutes equal to 7.30 decimal hours?

No. Thirty minutes is half an hour, so the decimal value is 7.5.

How do overnight times work?

If the end is earlier than the start and overnight handling is enabled, one day is added.

How do I enter a full day?

Use equal start and end times and set extra complete days to one. Equal times with zero days mean zero duration.

Can I subtract breaks?

Yes. Enter total excluded minutes. Breaks cannot exceed the elapsed duration.

Does this account for daylight-saving changes?

No. It is clock arithmetic with 24-hour days. Use timezone-aware date tools when actual elapsed time crosses a clock change.

Can I save the result?

Yes. Download the text result or JSON report, or copy the result. Editing inputs invalidates the previous result until you calculate again.

Is my input uploaded for processing?

Processing runs in a local browser worker with no input upload and no account. Website advertising and analytics are described in the privacy information.
