Questions & answers

Can I make a woman, man, child or elderly voice?

Try the Human characters group, then adjust pitch and vocal resonance separately. Age styles add air, roughness and gentle volume tremor. These are stylized effects, not AI voice conversion; no preset can guarantee a realistic result for every speaker.

Is my recording uploaded?

No. Decoding, effects and encoding run in this browser. Audio is kept in memory until you clear it or close the page. Saving a preset saves settings only.

Can this change my voice in calls or games?

This tool changes recorded clips. It does not provide a virtual microphone for live calls or games.

Why does the microphone not work?

Recording needs a supported browser, HTTPS (or localhost), and your microphone permission. Check site permissions or open a recording from your device instead.

Does it imitate a real person?

No. These are audio effects, not voice cloning or AI identity models. Pitch shifts also change the character of the voice; large shifts can sound artificial.

Why are pitch and speed separate?

Pitch moves your voice higher or lower while preserving the clip’s pace. Speed changes its pace while preserving the selected pitch. Echo and room effects add a short tail.
