Using Audio Loop & Sample Pack Builder

Select audio on a waveform, slice by beats or silence, crossfade loop boundaries, normalize samples and export a WAV sample pack with BPM metadata.

  1. Open a browser-supported audio file or try the generated 120 BPM drum loop. Drag the waveform or enter start/end times.
  2. Preview processing, set BPM manually or estimate it, then keep a selection or slice a bank by equal parts, beats or silence.
  3. Edit sample names and boundaries, download individual WAV files or export the complete ZIP with a manifest. Save a project to retain settings; reopen its original audio separately.

Example

Try the generated drum loop at 120 BPM.
Slice by beats, use a small crossfade and export a pack. Listen for seams before using a loop.

Questions & answers

Can it make seamless loops?

Boundary crossfade overlaps the tail into the beginning and shortens the output by that overlap. It can smooth some seams but does not guarantee a musically seamless loop. Preview the result and align boundaries to the rhythm.

Is BPM detection exact?

No. It estimates repeating amplitude onsets from the first 90 seconds. Half/double-tempo ambiguity and irregular rhythms can confuse it. Set BPM manually or use Tap tempo. Musical key is entered manually.

What changes pitch?

Speed changes pitch and duration together through sample interpolation. This is not independent time stretching or pitch correction.

What formats are supported?

Import formats depend on the browser audio decoder. WAV is the export format: 16-bit PCM at the decoded source sample rate. WAV is preferable to MP3 for tightly timed loops because MP3 may include encoder padding.

What are the limits?

50 MiB input, mono or stereo, up to 24 million decoded channel samples, 64 bank entries, 120 seconds per rendered selection and five minutes of rendered audio per ZIP pack. Workers handle rendering with a 30-second timeout.

Does a project include audio?

No. Open the original audio before loading the JSON project. The project restores boundaries, names and processing settings. Source rights remain with their owners.

Are audio files uploaded?

Audio processing happens locally in this browser. The public page may also load advertising and optional analytics as described in the privacy policy.
