Questions & answers

Will pasted HTML execute?

No. Item text is escaped before the HTML list is rendered. It appears as literal content.

Does this parse an existing nested list?

No. It converts plain-text lines into one flat list. It does not import Markdown or HTML structure.

Can I start a numbered list at another number?

Yes. Choose numbered and set the first number. LaTeX uses an enumerate counter; HTML uses the start attribute.
