Scope and practical limits
Images up to 1,200 pixels square and 1,000 iterations. Floating-point, finite-iteration rendering is an approximation. The minimum view span is 0.000001.
The tool processes your work in the browser. The website’s advertising and analytics follow its privacy and consent settings. Projects are not saved automatically. Media workspaces export their files directly rather than storing them in project JSON.
Using Mandelbrot Fractal Explorer
Rendering runs in a browser worker. Stop cancels the worker; changing a setting starts a fresh render.
- Start with the included example, or enter your own input.

- Download the result or save a project to continue later.
Example
Try Seahorse valley, then click an interesting part of the image to zoom.
Questions & answers
Are all dark pixels inside the set?

Is my project saved automatically?
No. Use Save project to keep an editable copy. Processing runs in the browser; site ads and analytics follow the website privacy and consent settings.
