Transparent corners are preserved in PNG. Small images can become soft when enlarged. Social platforms may crop, resize or remove transparency themselves.

Using Profile Picture Maker

Create profile pictures with draggable positioning, zoom, circular or square shapes, borders, small-avatar previews and transparent PNG size packs.

  1. Open a JPG, PNG or WebP photo, or use the demo portrait.
  2. Drag to position, zoom and choose shape, border, margin or grayscale. Inspect the 64 and 128 pixel previews.
  3. Choose a PNG size or download the ZIP containing 64, 128, 256, 512 and 1024 pixel avatars.

Example

Try the demo portrait with Circle and a two-percent purple border.
Zoom in and move the vertical focus to frame the face, then inspect the smaller previews.

Questions & answers

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Decoding, canvas editing, PNG encoding and ZIP creation happen locally.

How does the crop work?

The tool samples a square from the original image. Zoom reduces that square and focus positions it within the remaining source area.

Why does a focus slider sometimes do nothing?

At zoom 1 the shorter source dimension has no spare space outside the crop. Zoom in to enable positioning on both axes.

Does the circle have transparent corners?

Yes. PNG preserves transparent corners. Filling the background fills only inside the chosen shape.

What is inside the ZIP?

Five PNGs at 64, 128, 256, 512 and 1024 pixels, with the same crop and proportional styling.

Is a large export always sharper?

No. Enlarging a small source cannot restore detail. Platform recompression and cropping can also affect the final result.
