Load Visible seams to see an abrupt colored strip repeat across the grid. Offset view moves the original boundary into the image center, while the heatmap identifies which opposing pixels differ.

Scope and limits

PNG, JPEG and WebP up to 10 MiB and 2–2048 pixels per edge. Animated images are treated as stills. Metrics compare decoded sRGB edge pixels composited over the selected matte; the tool does not repair textures or guarantee seamlessness in a 3D renderer.

Processing runs in your browser. Save a project to keep your work; there is no automatic save. Advertising and analytics follow the website’s privacy and consent settings.

Questions & answers

Does a zero edge difference guarantee seamlessness?

No. Matching boundary pixels are one useful check. Interior repetition, lighting gradients, filtering and mipmaps can still reveal visible seams. Inspect the texture in its intended application.

Does this resize or repair my source file?

No. The display preview is fitted to the panel. Analysis uses the decoded image pixels, and the original file remains untouched.

How is transparency compared?

Each edge pixel is composited over your chosen matte before calculating its RGB root-mean-square difference from the opposite edge. Fully transparent hidden colors do not affect the metric.

What does the PNG download contain?

The current inspection preview, including the selected view and guides. It is a diagnostic image rather than a seamless replacement texture.

Can I keep my work for later?

Save project downloads your inputs and settings as JSON. Open project restores them. Undo and redo are available during this tab session; there is no automatic project save.
