Counter & Score Keeper
Keep multiple tallies, track custom targets or run a simple scoreboard. Use large plus/minus controls, adjustable steps, undo and optional keyboard shortcuts.
Your counters
When enabled: keys 1–9 add to the corresponding counter; Shift + 1–9 subtract. Shortcuts ignore typing fields and held-key repeats. Values stop at zero unless negative scores are enabled; changing that setting does not rewrite existing values.
Ready. Add a counter or try an example.
Device saving is optional and happens only when you click Save. It stores names, values and targets in this browser. Restore replaces the current counters and can be undone. Removing the save keeps the counters currently on screen.
Recent changes
Recent changes show up to 20 actions in this visit. Undo keeps up to 30 counter states, including names, targets and removal; it does not restore global step or keyboard settings. Examples replace your counters and can be undone.
Counts stay in browser memory, optional local device storage and downloads. No processing upload. Website ads and analytics follow our privacy information.
Using Counter & Score Keeper
Keep a set of clear counters for scores, tallies or your own progress targets.
- Add counters or try a team/target example. Edit names, values and optional targets.
- Use plus/minus with your selected step. Enable negative scores or keyboard shortcuts when useful; Undo restores counter states.
- Switch to large scoreboard view, export CSV/JSON, or explicitly save and restore counters on this device.
Example
Create Red team and Blue team counters for a friendly match, then switch to scoreboard view. Set a custom Pages read target of 20 and increment it as you progress. This is your own target, not a prescribed goal.
Questions & answers
How many counters can I use?
One to twelve. Each value supports whole numbers from −999,999 to 999,999, with a step from 1 to 10,000. The optional target supports positive whole numbers through 999,999.
Can scores be negative?
Enable Allow negative scores for plus/minus actions to pass below zero. Otherwise decrement actions stop at zero. Changing the setting does not rewrite existing values; direct value editing still accepts the supported signed range.
What can Undo restore?
The previous thirty counter states, including scores, names, targets, additions, removal, resets and loaded examples. Global step, keyboard and display settings are separate. Recent changes show up to twenty actions in the current visit.
How do keyboard shortcuts work?
Enable them explicitly. Keys 1–9 increment those counter positions; Shift plus the same digit decrements. Shortcuts ignore typing fields, modifier combinations and held-key repeats. Counters ten through twelve use their buttons.
Are examples destructive?
They replace the current counter set, but you can immediately Undo. Reset also supports Undo. Removing the last counter is disabled.
What does scoreboard view change?
It uses larger values and a two-column desktop layout, hiding per-counter editing and removal controls. Plus/minus and goals remain available; choose Edit counters to return.
Will my counters remain after I close the page?
Only if you click Save on this device. Saving is manual, not automatic; restore the last save when returning. This stores counter names, values and targets in this browser. JSON/CSV downloads provide portable records; arbitrary JSON import is not provided.
What happens when I remove a device save?
Only the saved browser record is removed. Counters currently on screen and their Undo history remain. Device storage can be unavailable in some browser modes; use downloads instead.
Are scores uploaded?
No processing upload is used. Counters remain in browser memory, optional device storage and downloads. Website ads and analytics follow the privacy information.
