List Frequency Analyzer & Statistics
Count whole-item frequencies, find repeated or singleton entries, compare Unicode-normalized values and export counts, percentages and original line positions.
Ready. Explore the example or use the input controls to begin.
Scope and practical limits
Up to 5,000 lines and 50,000 characters. Counts whole items, not individual words. Case ignoring uses JavaScript lowercase. NFC/NFKC normalization is optional; percentages always use the full retained list. Table previews show 200 groups; exports contain all groups.

Using List Frequency Analyzer & Statistics
Count whole-item frequencies, find repeated or singleton entries, compare Unicode-normalized values and export counts, percentages and original line positions.
- Paste one item per line or import a text file. Review trimming and empty-line rules.
- Choose the comparison or formatting settings and inspect the results and source-line audit.
- Copy or download the full result. Save a project to retain the editable input and settings.
Example
Apple, Banana, apple, Apple, Pear, Banana on separate lines. With trimming and case ignoring: Apple = 3/6, Banana = 2/6, Pear = 1/6.
Questions & answers
How are repeated spellings combined?
Comparison settings control trimming, lowercase and Unicode normalization. The first retained spelling is displayed and all original source line numbers are recorded.
Do filters change the percentage denominator?
No. Each percentage uses the total retained input count, even when singletons or repeated groups are hidden.
Does it count words inside a phrase?
No. A whole line is one item. Use Word Counter for words and sentences.
