Parametric Object Builder
Make practical 3D-printable objects by typing the sizes you need: storage boxes with lids, drawer organizers, L brackets, phone stands, electronics enclosures, pen cups, spacers, plant pots and wall hooks. See the model update in 3D, check it fits your printer, estimate filament and download STL or 3MF for your slicer.
Your printer
Filament use is an estimate: about 1.2 mm of solid walls and skins plus your infill. Your slicer gives the exact amount and time.
For your slicer
Units are millimetres. STL works in every slicer (Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer); 3MF keeps the parts as separate objects.

How to use the parametric object builder
- Pick a model in Models: storage box, drawer organizer, L bracket, phone stand, enclosure, pen cup, spacers, plant pot or wall hook.
- Type your sizes in Sizes or drag the sliders. Measure the space or the object it must hold; clearances for lids are already included.
- Check the print: set your printer’s bed size and material. Print check warns about parts that are too big, walls that are too thin and other common problems, and estimates filament and cost.
- Download STL or 3MF and open it in your slicer. Parts are laid out flat and ready to print; lids are placed next to their boxes.
Drag to rotate the view, scroll to zoom and right-drag to move it. Copy the link to save or share exact settings.
Using Parametric Object Builder
Design practical 3D-printable parts by entering the sizes you need instead of modelling from scratch. Choose a storage box, drawer organizer, L bracket, phone stand, electronics enclosure, pen cup, spacers, plant pot or wall hook, adjust every dimension with a live 3D preview, check it fits your printer and download STL or 3MF.
- Pick a model in the Models tab.
- Type the sizes in millimetres or drag the sliders: width, depth, height, wall thickness, holes, dividers and more. The 3D preview updates immediately.
- Open Print check, enter your printer’s bed size, material and infill, and read the warnings and filament estimate.
- Download STL for any slicer or 3MF to keep parts as separate objects. Copy a link to share or reopen the exact settings.
Example
A 120 × 80 × 50 mm storage box with 1.6 mm walls, two dividers and a lid with a 0.3 mm clearance, printed in PLA at 20 % infill, needs roughly 60–70 g of filament. An enclosure for a board with mounting holes 58 × 38 mm gets four standoffs at exactly that spacing and an 8 mm cable hole in the front.
Questions & answers
Is this 3D model maker free?
Yes. It is free, needs no account and builds every model in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Which file formats can I download?
Binary STL for every slicer, 3MF with each part as its own object, and OBJ. All sizes are in millimetres.
Will the lid fit the box?
The lid has an inner lip with a clearance you can set (0.3 mm by default). If your printer prints tight, increase it to 0.4–0.5 mm; if loose, reduce it.
How accurate is the filament estimate?
It assumes about 1.2 mm of solid walls and skins plus your infill percentage. It is a planning estimate; your slicer calculates the exact amount and time.
Can I edit the model in other software?
Yes. Import the STL or 3MF into Tinkercad, Fusion, Blender or your slicer to add text or combine it with other parts.
Is this the same as OpenSCAD?
It uses the same idea of building objects from sizes, with ready-made models and forms instead of code. For your own shapes from scratch, a CAD program is the better choice.
Can I share a design?
Copy link creates a web address with the model and sizes. Anyone who opens it sees the same design and can download it.
