Photo Develop Editor

Full workspace

Edit photos the way photographers do in Lightroom – free, in your browser. Fix exposure and white balance, recover highlights and shadows, shape tones with curves, fine-tune each colour with the HSL mixer, add clarity, sharpening, noise reduction, vignette and film grain, crop and straighten, then sync the same look to a whole set of photos and export JPEG, WebP or PNG.

Non-destructive and private: your originals are never changed or uploaded. Edits run on your device.

Using Photo Develop Editor

A free, Lightroom-style photo editor that runs in your browser. Correct exposure and white balance, recover bright skies and dark shadows, shape contrast with tone curves, adjust each colour with the HSL mixer, add clarity, dehaze, sharpening and noise reduction, crop and straighten, finish with a vignette or film grain, then apply the same look to a whole set of photos and export them. Edits are non-destructive and your originals never leave your device.

  1. Open one or more photos (JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF) or drop them on the editor; the sample photo lets you try the controls first.
  2. In Basic, use Auto tone or set Exposure, then Highlights and Shadows; fix colour casts with Auto WB or the neutral-colour picker.
  3. Fine-tune contrast in Curve, individual colours in Color (HSL) and texture in Detail; double-click any slider label to reset it.
  4. Crop to a ratio such as 4:5 or 16:9, straighten the horizon and rotate if needed; compare with the original using Before/After.
  5. Copy the settings to other photos or press Sync all, then Export one photo or a ZIP of all photos as JPEG, WebP or PNG.

Example

A dark, bluish landscape: Auto tone lifts exposure by about +0.6 EV, Auto WB warms it, Highlights −40 keeps the sky, Blue luminance −20 deepens it and Dehaze +15 adds punch.
Edit one photo from an event, press Sync all to apply the same look to the other 30, and export them at 2048 px for sharing.

Questions & answers

Is this a free alternative to Lightroom?

For everyday editing, yes: exposure, white balance, highlights and shadows, curves, HSL, clarity, dehaze, sharpening, noise reduction, crop, presets and batch sync are free with no account. It does not open RAW files or keep a photo catalogue.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Photos are processed on your device; the original files are never changed and nothing is sent to a server.

Can I edit many photos at once?

Yes. Open several photos, edit one, then use Sync all or Copy and Paste to apply the same settings, and export them together as a ZIP.

Which files can I open?

JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, BMP and GIF that your browser can read. Camera RAW formats such as CR3, NEF or ARW are not supported – export them as JPEG or TIFF-converted JPEG first.

Is my editing quality reduced?

The preview uses a smaller copy for speed, but the export processes your full-size photo (up to 40 megapixels) and only resizes if you choose a smaller size.

What happens to EXIF data?

Exported files do not include camera metadata or GPS location, which is good for privacy when sharing.

Can I save my own presets?

Yes. In Presets, choose Save current look; presets are stored in this browser and can be applied to any photo.
