Scope and practical limits
Up to 5,000 retained items, 50,000 input characters and 50 columns before transpose. Grid previews show 100 rows; position previews show 200 cells. JSON null marks padding, distinct from real empty strings. Transposed grids may have more than 50 columns; the preview scrolls horizontally.
The tool processes your work in the browser. The website’s advertising and analytics follow its privacy and consent settings. Projects are not saved automatically. Media workspaces export their files directly rather than storing them in project JSON.

Does this align a delimited text table?
It arranges a flat list into cells. Use Plain Text Column Aligner for spacing an existing delimited table.
How can I tell padding from an empty item?
JSON uses null for padding and an empty string for a real empty item. The position audit includes source lines for real items.
What does transpose do?
It swaps the completed grid rows and columns. Every retained item still appears exactly once.
